In the afternoon, explore the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 guilds district - a maze of alleys organized by traditional crafts. The best way to experience this vibrant area is on foot. The tour concludes with a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as the Lake of the Restored Sword) and a visit to Ngoc Son Temple. Option to enjoy a cup of egg coffee, a Vietnamese specialty.

In the evening, transfer to Hanoi station to board the train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train in an air-conditioned cabin with 4 separate beds (4 people per cabin).

Visit the colorful Coc Ly market (held only on Tuesdays). After exploring the market, continue to the village of Pho - Na Hoi, followed by a transfer to Sapa.

Sapa, a former French colonial resort town, is not only an ideal place to relax due to its mild climate and beautiful mountain landscapes but also an important center for the harmonious coexistence of mountain ethnic groups who settled at the foot of Mount Fan Si Pan (the highest in Indochina: 3,143 m).

In the afternoon, return to Hanoi by shared limousine/shuttle bus with other travelers (15:30 - 20:30). Arrival in Hanoi in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 5: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave

Upon arrival, visit the temples of Kings Dinh and Le, dating back to the 10th century. Transfer to Tam Coc, also known as the “Halong Bay on land” due to its similar landscape, though with rice paddies instead of sea.

In the afternoon, enjoy a rowing boat trip to explore the Tam Coc caves, “the three lagoons,” and the Bich Dong pagoda. Afterwards, visit Mua Cave, which is built in the architectural style of the Great Wall, with about 500 stone steps. From the mountain top, you can admire the magnificent scenery of Tam Coc, famous Ninh Binh viewpoints, and the vast landscapes. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6: Tam Coc - Halong Bay

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay (Vinh Ha Long). Along the way, enjoy the scenic countryside. Arrive in Halong late in the morning and board the junk for a cruise in the bay. During the cruise, visit caves that are steeped in local legends. Delicious meals based on fish and seafood will be served on board. Overnight stay on board - private cabin in the comfort category.

Note: The itinerary of the mini-cruise may vary depending on the type of junk used and sea conditions. The onboard guide will speak English.

At the end of the morning, transfer back to Hanoi Airport. Arrival at Hanoi Airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to the hotel.

Note: The itinerary of the mini cruise may vary depending on the type of junk used and sea conditions. The guide on board will speak English or French.

Day 8: Hue - La Chu Village - Hue

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our full-day tour. We start with a visit to The Hue Citadel. We then stop at the An Hien garden house, which means "house of peace." With its traditional architecture, it offers visitors an insight into the history and typical atmosphere of ancient Hue.

A pleasant bicycle ride through its tropical orchards also allows you to discover the charming Hue countryside. During the tour, there will be other stops to visit pagodas, local craft workshops, and more.

Cycling to La Chu Village, you will also see, beyond the aforementioned beauties, the consequences of the Agent Orange released by the US army 40 years ago. Lunch will be served at a kind of local farmhouse. At the end of the meal, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a herbal foot bath while contemplating the picturesque rice field scenery.

At the end of the day, we visit the Tomb of Tu Duc, one of the most beautiful. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Hue - Marble Mountains - Hoi An

After breakfast, we visit Thien Mu Pagoda (known as the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady) and Dong Ba Market. Transfer to Hoi An via the famous "Cloud Pass" (Hai Van Pass), which offers stunning coastal views. Visit the Cham Museum and the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son). Arrival and overnight stay at a hotel in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

After breakfast, we take an excursion to the “Holy Land of My Son”, a complex of ruined temples and sanctuaries built about 30 km from Hoi An. This site, which served as the capital of the Champa Kingdom from the 5th to the 13th century, offers insight into the glorious history of the Cham people and their Malayo-Polynesian culture. Return to Hoi An in the late morning.

In the afternoon, visit Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover its main attractions such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Phung Hung Ancient House. We’ll also visit the local market, the old port, and Chuc Thanh Pagoda - the oldest pagoda in Hoi An, founded in 1454 by a Chinese monk. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Hoi An - Da Nang - Saigon city tour

After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang Airport for the flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, transfer to the city and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, we begin a city tour. We start with the Central Post Office, the Cathedral, the Jade Emperor Pagoda (dedicated to the supreme Taoist deity), the War Remnants Museum, and finish at Ben Thanh Market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Saigon - Ben Tre (Phong Nam) - Can Tho

After breakfast, we head by car toward the Mekong Delta - considered Vietnam’s "rice bowl." Arrival at Phong Nam Bridge, located just in front of the hotel of the same name. We board a boat for a trip along the Ben Tre River, one of the main tributaries of the Mekong River. Along the way, we observe the vibrant local activities, including river fishing and the use of irrigation canals.

We will visit a brick kiln to see the traditional brick-making process. Then, we’ll stop at one of the many coconut processing workshops along the canal. We continue through scenic and hidden creeks of the delta until we reach a village.

Finally, we visit a local home where straw mats are woven. By motorized rickshaw (Xe Loi), we explore the surrounding countryside with its groves, green rice fields, and vegetable gardens - a genuine glimpse into rural agricultural life. Arrival at a local restaurant for lunch.

In the afternoon, transfer to Can Tho.

Day 13: Can Tho - Tra Su - Chau Doc

Early in the morning, we take a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market. In this beautiful setting, we’ll admire the many boats loaded with goods, observe the daily life of the locals, and witness the bustling activity of the river town.

The excursion continues with a visit to a lush fruit orchard owned by Mr. Tu Dung, where we’ll have the chance to taste fresh fruit picked right on the spot. We then visit the ancient house of Binh Thuy.

After leaving Can Tho, we continue to a new destination: Chau Doc. Upon arrival and hotel check-in, we depart for a boat trip to explore the Tra Su Melaleuca Forest - a beautiful wetland area rich in biodiversity. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Note: For the best experience, it is recommended to visit the floating market between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m.

Day 14: Chau Doc - Saigon - Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. The tour begins with a walk through the local market of Chau Doc, followed by visits to Ba Chua Xu Temple, the tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau, and the ancient Hang Pagoda (Chua Hang).
