Arrival at Hanoi Airport. Meet your guide. Transfer to the city center and check-in at the hotel. Check-in available after 2:00 PM. Free time to relax or explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
After breakfast, departure for the Bat Trang ceramic village. Located just 25 km from Hanoi, near the Red River, it is world-renowned for its handcrafted ceramics. These products have been exported to many European countries since the 15th century.
Exclusively with TropiGo Travel, you will explore Bat Trang in a unique way, immersing yourself in local daily life and witnessing up close the ancient art of ceramics. The guide will take you to a workshop near the market, where you’ll observe all phases of the production of vases, kettles, trays, tables, teapots, coffee cups, and more.
The tour continues on foot, heading toward the central square to visit a small ancient temple and a beautiful pagoda. It will end with a visit to a small souvenir shop.
Upon returning to Hanoi, we will visit the Temple of Literature, built in honor of Confucius in 1070 and home to Vietnam’s first Royal University since 1076. Then, we’ll begin a walking tour of the Old Quarter, also known as the district of 36 guilds, a maze of alleys and streets, each named after a traditional craft or trade.
The tour is designed to capture many aspects of local life and will conclude with a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the Lake of the Returned Sword, and a visit to Ngoc Son Temple. Optional: try a cup of egg coffee.
In the evening, enjoy dinner with a local family before returning to the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, departure to Ninh Binh, one of the most famous sites in Vietnam for its heritage and stunning limestone peaks. On the way, stop at the artisan village of Xuan La, known for making traditional children’s toys called “To he” - colorful figurines made from glutinous rice paste. You’ll have the chance to try crafting your own and enjoy a cup of tea offered by the host. The activity lasts about an hour before continuing the journey to Ninh Binh.
Upon arrival, visit the temples of Kings Dinh and Le, dating back to the 10th century. Then transfer to Tam Coc, often called the “Halong Bay on land” due to its similar karst landscape, but surrounded by rice fields instead of water. In the afternoon, enjoy a rowboat excursion to explore the caves of Tam Coc - meaning “three lagoons.” Continue with a visit to the Bich Dong Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay (Vịnh Hạ Long). Along the way, admire the beautiful rural scenery. Arrival at Halong around late morning and embark on a traditional wooden junk boat for a cruise through the bay. During the cruise, visit some of the mysterious caves surrounded by local legends.
Enjoy delicious meals on board featuring fresh seafood. Overnight on board in a private cabin - comfort category.

In the morning, after breakfast, leave the junk and board traditional sampan boats to visit some of the famous caves. Enjoy brunch on board. Late morning, transfer back to Hanoi airport. On the way, stop at Yen Duc village to watch a traditional water puppet show. Arrival at Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day exploring the Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This vast complex includes temples, pavilions, moats, ancient corridors, and galleries that showcase Vietnamese art and customs from different historical periods.
Continue with a visit to a paper flower workshop, followed by the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc - the fourth emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, who ruled from 1847 to 1883. His tomb, shaped according to geomancy (Feng Shui), features elegant buildings and gardens.
On the way back, stop at Ms. Bich’s workshop to observe her handmade incense sticks and conical hats.
After lunch (at your own expense), visit a silk painting workshop, a traditional Vietnamese art form dating back centuries. Then enjoy a boat ride on the Perfume River and meet a local family that still practices traditional woodblock printing. The day ends with an excursion to Chuon Lagoon, home to 800 fishing families. Take a boat to explore their daily life and enjoy a tasting of fish, shrimp, and crab at sunset. Return to the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Hoi An via the famous “Cloud Pass” (Hai Van Pass), which offers breathtaking views of the coastline.
Upon arrival, visit the charming ancient town. The tour begins with Chuc Thanh Pagoda - the oldest pagoda in Hoi An, built by a Chinese monk. Continue with the Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese temple, Phung Hung Ancient House, surrounding craft villages, the Rehahn Heritage Art Museum, and finally the local market and harbor. Return to the hotel for overnight in Hoi An.
Meet your guide at the hotel and depart by boat toward Cam Nam. After boarding, sail toward Cua Dai, a sandy dune area where you can watch local fishermen casting their nets. The journey continues to Cam Thanh - the water coconut village - where you’ll hear stories about its history.
Along the “coconut river,” you’ll have the chance to catch crabs with a local fisherman, listen to traditional songs, and learn how coconut shells are used to craft musical instruments.
Arriving back in Cam Nam, rent bicycles to visit Tra Que Village. There, you can join in daily farming activities with a local farmer and enjoy a tasting of regional dishes. In the afternoon, return to town. Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore the city on your own, without guide or driver. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon arrival, transfer to the city and check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, take a guided city tour. Highlights include the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ngoc Hoang Pagoda (dedicated to the Jade Emperor - the supreme deity of Taoism), the War Remnants Museum, and Ben Thanh Market. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner on the Saigon River. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Ben Tre - the coconut capital of Vietnam. Arrive at Hung Vuong Pier and board a local boat that will take you through narrow canals. Along the journey, witness daily life on the river, local fishing activities, and the irrigation systems.
Visit a brick factory to observe traditional brick-making techniques, a family-run coconut candy workshop, and a mat-weaving facility.
Continue your excursion with a bicycle ride through the surrounding countryside. Lunch will be served at a typical local restaurant. Afterwards, return to the pier and enjoy a short sampan ride. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, board a boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market, where numerous boats loaded with rice, fruits, and local products gather to trade and sell. Experience local life and observe the lively commercial atmosphere.
Visit the lush fruit garden of Mr. Tu Dung, where you can taste fresh tropical fruits. Continue to the historic Binh Thuy Ancient House and a Khmer temple. In the afternoon, transfer by car back to Saigon. On the way, stop to visit the Long Dinh handicraft village. Arrival in Saigon. Overnight at the hotel.
