Trip to Thailand with beach

Arrive at Bangkok International Airport. After collecting your luggage, proceed to Gate 3, where our local guide will be waiting to welcome you. Transfer to the city center and check in at the hotel.

Enjoy some free time to rest or explore the city at your own pace without a guide or driver. Overnight at the hotel (check-in time from 14:00).

After breakfast, start your Bangkok city tour. Step into the ancient Kingdom of Siam with a visit to the Grand Palace, a vast complex of ceremonial halls, golden spires, and beautifully decorated buildings. A landmark of the old city since 1782, the palace became the heart of Thailand’s new capital, Krung Thep (City of Angels), known internationally as Bangkok. The highlight here is the Emerald Buddha, a sacred jade statue adorned in gold.

Next, visit Wat Pho, one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, home to the 45-meter-long Reclining Buddha and Thailand’s original school of traditional Thai massage. Then, experience a burst of colors and exotic aromas at Pak Khlong Talat, Bangkok’s famous flower market.

In the afternoon, explore Wat Traimit, known for its impressive Golden Buddha, a solid gold statue. End the day with a leisurely walk through Chinatown, one of Bangkok’s most vibrant and bustling commercial districts.

After breakfast, depart for a visit to the Maeklong Railway Market, a unique marketplace built along an active railway track. What makes this market so fascinating is the sight of vendors quickly pulling back their goods every time a train passes through - eight times a day, every day of the week. This remarkable scene has been unfolding since 1905, when the railway was first constructed.

Next, continue to Ratchaburi Province, passing through picturesque rural landscapes. Board a longtail boat for an exciting ride through the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where hundreds of boats navigate the waterways, selling fresh produce, street food, and souvenirs.

In the afternoon, embark on a private longtail boat tour through the charming canals of Thonburi, on the western banks of the Chao Phraya River. These waterways once earned Bangkok the nickname "Venice of the East." The boat tour includes a stop at Wat Arun, the magnificent Temple of Dawn, with its striking pagoda towering over the riverbank.

After breakfast, depart for Kanchanaburi. The first stop is Wat Tham Suea, a stunning temple located in Tambon Muang Chum, just 4 km beyond the Wachiralongkorn Dam. Built in a unique Thai-Chinese architectural style, the temple is home to an impressive giant Buddha statue. Not far from Tham Khao Noi Temple, Wat Tham Suea is renowned for its golden Buddha images and spacious surroundings, making it one of the most architecturally fascinating religious sites in Kanchanaburi with strong Chinese artistic influences.

Continue to the Bridge on the River Kwai, one of the most famous landmarks of World War II. Learn about the tragic history of its construction and the prisoners of war (POWs) who were forced to work on this railway under extreme conditions. Visit the War Cemetery and War Museum before arriving at the historic Bridge on the River Kwai itself.

The journey continues to Hellfire Pass, a 73-meter-long and 25-meter-deep cutting through solid rock, built manually by prisoners using basic tools under brutal conditions. This site serves as a poignant reminder of the hardships endured during the railway’s construction.

Meet with the guide and depart for a visit to Erawan National Park. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes for a short trek and bring a swimsuit and towel.

Erawan National Park is one of Thailand’s most remarkable natural reserves, home to the breathtaking Erawan Waterfall, the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Kanchanaburi. Fed by the Huai Mong Lai River, the cascade tumbles down a 2,100-meter-high mountain, stretching 1,500 meters across seven levels, each offering spacious, safe natural pools for swimming. For those who enjoy hiking, a 30-minute nature trail leads through lush evergreen and deciduous forests, offering a chance to immerse in the serene landscape.

After exploring the park, board a train for a scenic railway journey to Tham Krasae, where you can visit the Tham Krasae Bridge next to the cave of the same name. This section of the railway, known as the Wang Pho Viaduct, is particularly striking, as the train slows to a crawl while crossing a seemingly precarious wooden bridge. On one side, towering rock formations rise above, while on the other, dramatic cliffs drop steeply towards the river, offering phenomenal panoramic views.

Continue the journey to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Upon arrival, visit Wat Chai Wattanaram, one of the most majestic temple complexes in Ayutthaya, renowned for its intricate Khmer-style architecture and its location along the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, one of the most significant temples in Ayutthaya. With a long and remarkable history, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol is still an active monastery where monks reside, setting it apart from many other ancient ruins in the city.

Continue to Wat Mahathat, home to the iconic Buddha head entwined within the roots of a Bodhi tree, one of the most famous and symbolic images of Ayutthaya.

Depart for Lopburi, where a short stop will be made at Prang Sam Yod, an ancient Khmer-style pagoda, and the Monkey Temple, known for its mischievous long-tailed macaques that freely roam the area.

Proceed to Sukhothai. Overnight in Sukhothai.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before exploring the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital of the first independent Kingdom of Thailand in the 13th century. Known as the "Dawn of Happiness," Sukhothai flourished during the reign of King Ramkhamhaeng, credited with creating the Thai alphabet. The well-preserved temples and monuments in this park provide a glimpse into the grandeur of early Thai civilization. Highlights include:Wat Si Sawai, Wat Mahathat and Wat Sa Si.

Continue the journey to Phrae to visit Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkon Khiri, an architectural masterpiece showcasing Lanna-style craftsmanship. Admire the intricate wood carvings and the ornate golden teak buildings, which reflect the elegance of Northern Thai heritage.

A stop will be made at Phayao Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northern Thailand and the fourth largest in the country, offering serene views of the surrounding landscapes.

Proceed to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Baan Dam, also known as the Black House Museum. This unique complex consists of 40 dark teakwood buildings set amidst lush gardens, showcasing a blend of traditional Thai, Lanna, and contemporary art.

Continue to Chiang Saen, home to the legendary Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet along the Mekong River. Once infamous for opium trade, the area now hosts the Hall of Opium Museum, offering insights into the history of the opium trade and its impact on the region. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River to admire the stunning landscapes.

Next, visit the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), an extraordinary modern architectural masterpiece. Entirely white and adorned with mirrored mosaics, this dazzling temple symbolizes purity and enlightenment.

Proceed to Chiang Mai, known as the "Rose of the North", the cultural and historical heart of Northern Thailand. Founded in the 13th century during the Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Mai boasts a rich heritage.

After breakfast, depart for the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, an ethical elephant conservation center. This group activity allows visitors to learn about elephant behavior, history, and conservation efforts while engaging in hands-on experiences: Wear traditional Karen clothing, meet and feed the elephants in their natural environment, bathe and play with the elephants in a mud spa and river and enjoy a traditional Thai meal before bidding farewell to the elephants.

Return to Chiang Mai and visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Thailand’s most sacred temples. Perched at 3,500 feet (1,066 meters) above sea level, the temple houses a revered Buddha relic and offers breathtaking panoramic views of Chiang Mai. Stroll around the golden pagoda and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Koh Samui, with a layover in Bangkok. Upon arrival in Koh Samui, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Koh Samui.
