After breakfast, departure for a day of discovery in Bangkok.
The first stop of the day will be Wat Pho, the "Temple of the Reclining Buddha."
Next, we will take a public boat to reach Wat Arun. From there, it is a short distance to the charming Kudicheen (Kudi Chin) district, where we will visit the historic Thanusingha Bakery House, still famous for its delicious pastries, the small Baan Kudi Chin Museum, and the exotic Kuan An Keng Shrine, a Taoist temple.
At the end of the visits, we will continue by car to a restaurant with a stunning panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River and the old city.
In the afternoon, the last stop will be the majestic and breathtaking Royal Grand Palace, home to the Wat Phra Kaew, the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha." The Grand Palace complex also includes the Chakri Palace (viewable only from the outside), the Dusit Palace, and the Montien Palace, the latter two open for visits only during certain periods.
Around 4:30 PM, return to the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. At 06:30-07:00, meet your guide at the hotel and depart for an exciting day visiting the nearby provinces of Samut Songkhram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok.
The first stop is the Maeklong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market), also known as the "Risky Market" (Siang Tai Market). This is considered one of Thailand’s most fascinating attractions, as the market’s stalls are set up along an active railway track, and vendors quickly pull back their goods whenever a train approaches.
Next, we continue towards the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Upon arrival at the pier, we will take a long-tail boat through the narrow canals for about 30 minutes to reach the heart of the market. Located in Ratchaburi province, Damnoen Saduak is one of the most famous floating markets in Thailand, where both Thai and foreign visitors come daily to shop, eat, and experience the lively atmosphere of traditional water markets, which date back over a century.
At 11:00 AM, we will start our return journey to Bangkok, with an estimated arrival at the hotel around 12:00 PM. The afternoon is free for individual activities or optional excursions.
After breakfast, we will depart for Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand.
At around 9:00 AM, we will arrive at Bang Pa-In, the Summer Palace, which was built on an island in the river and used as a countryside retreat by the kings of the Ayutthaya era. The palace complex reflects a blend of European, Chinese, and Thai architectural styles, showcasing the personality of King Rama V (who reigned from 1868 to 1910).
We then continue to explore Ayutthaya, founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. It remained the capital of the Siamese Kingdom for 417 years and is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our visit includes: Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit and Wat Chai Watthanaram.
At midday, we will board the luxurious "Grand Pearl" cruise at Wat Chong Lom Pier, near Bang Sai (famous for its Royal Folk Arts and Handicrafts Center).
Enjoy a buffet lunch on board while cruising along the Chao Phraya River, passing through the provinces of Pathum Thani and Nonthaburi, both home to numerous temples and parks near Bangkok.
At around 3:00 PM, a coffee break will be served while you admire stunning riverside landmarks, including: Thammasat University, The Grand Palace and Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).
